Choose the MMO for you

There are hundreds of MMO is out there, but only few of them are actually playing trouble! Let’s face the facts, MMOs like World of Warcraft (WoW), Age of Conan (AoC) EverQuest II (EQ2) and Aion: Tower of Eternity all cost just a penny, and nobody has that much free time on their hands. Ultimately you have to take a decision, which is that you pay to play? In this article we will see some of the higher profile major MMO on the market and offer our thoughts on the matter.

World of Warcraft

What’s this?: World of Warcraft, WoW, or as it came to be called by that play, it is probably the most consistently polished and well defined MMO on the market. Published by Blizzard in 2004, it quickly supplanted the original EverQuest that the MMO of choice for most, eventually becoming something of a household name. It is played by the hardcore and casual, for schoolchildren, forties, soccer moms and even in families as a sort of bonding exercise.
