Spent most of the day taking in, thinking about and chewing on the changes and preview for us Paladins; the pros, the cons, the new directions, the philosophies, etc. Then I spent a few hours reading the boards on the official site, as well as several popular sites for the public. Then I went on my Paladin and did a few Heroic PUGs, trying to imagine how the new stuff would work in-game while I was playing. And then, finally, after letting my guild know I was taking tonight off from raiding, I logged on here to share my thoughts.
Below you’ll find the now-famous Paladin Preview for the upcoming expansion, Cataclysm, as well as feedback from myself. As usual, you’re all encouraged to share your thoughts, opinions and disagreements in the comment section. Remember: Important people are reading.

Blizzard posted a small recap of what happened on WoW lately and what will happen soon. Nothing really new here, but there is a short mention of database upgrades that will make a couple of players happy.

League of Legends (LoL) by Riot Games is basically a new iteration of the Defense of the Ancients (DOTA) mod for WarCraft III. LoL is actually free to play, with the revenue stream being from micro-transactions in the game’s store.
I really enjoyed my time I spent in LoL’s beta, and when the game was fresh playing in the matchmaking was pretty good until I reached a certain level where the ratio of decent players to complete scum diminished to a point where LoL was no longer any fun.
Hearing about Monday Night Combat from PAX East reminded me that I had LoL installed, so I loaded it up to give it another spin.
